July 20 (Wednesday): Requests to citizens (the number of new infections is increasing rapidly)
In Chiba City, the number of new coronavirus infections is increasing rapidly.
From now on, we will have a full-fledged summer vacation season. I think there are many people who are looking forward to returning home, traveling, events, etc.
Based on what we have learned so far, we believe that it is essential for each citizen to take measures to “not to be infected, not to be infected”, rather than restricting movement.
I would like to ask all citizens and business operators to once again confirm basic measures against infectious diseases, such as being aware of regular ventilation while paying close attention to heatstroke.
In particular, elderly people and those with underlying diseases should try to reduce the risk of infection by meeting with people they usually meet in small groups.
In order to prevent the spread of infection to the elderly, please wear a mask when you meet the elderly or in the hospital.
For other information from Chiba Prefecture, please refer to the Chiba Prefecture website .(Link to external site)(Open in new window)please look at.
