Cancer screening consultation method
There are two ways to receive a cancer screening in Chiba City: a group screening (a method of receiving a medical examination in a car) and an individual examination (a method of receiving a medical examination at a cooperating medical institution).
You can choose one of the methods for each type of examination.
In addition, when you receive a Chiba City Cancer Screening, you will need a “Chiba City Cancer Screening Ticket Sticker” and a screening fee.
About group examination
It is a method to receive a medical examination by a medical examination car at the health and welfare center, public hall, etc. of each ward.
The types of examinations that can be examined are as follows.
“Stomach cancer screening (X-ray only), lung cancer screening,
Osteoporosis screening, uterine cancer screening, breast cancer screening,
Colorectal cancer screening “
The mass screening for the 4th year of Reiwa is a complete reservation system for all screenings except colorectal cancer, and will start in August.

Group examination precautions
Please be sure to refer to the “Various Cancer Screening (P7-P13)” in the “Cancer Screening Information” that was sent together with the “Cancer Screening Ticket Sticker”.
- The schedule for mass screening is subject to change or cancellation.
- Reservations are required for all age groups.
- Please refrain from coming by car. Please use public transportation to visit us.
- Please wear a mask and visit by yourself.
- A ” cancer screening ticket sticker ” and ” cancer screening fee ” are required to receive a medical examination. If you do not have it, you will not be able to receive a medical examination.
- Please be sure to come during the reception hours. If the reception time has passed, we will refuse the consultation. Also, please refrain from coming before the reception time to prevent congestion in the venue.
- You will be asked to fill in your address, name, etc. on the examination slip at the venue, so please bring your glasses if you need them.
- As a result of the interview, you may not be able to receive the consultation.
- Please manage your valuables by yourself.

About individual examination
It is a method to receive a medical examination at a cooperating medical institution in the city. If you would like to have an individual examination, please make a reservation directly with a medical institution and have an examination.
In addition, medical institutions are listed by ward, but you can choose from all the medical institutions listed regardless of the ward you live in.
* Some medical institutions have suspended cancer screening due to the spread of new coronavirus infections. If you wish to have a cancer screening, please check with each medical institution.

About the examination result
If you receive an individual examination, the medical institution that received the examination will give you a copy of the person.
If you have undergone a mass examination, the examination results will be mailed to you one to two months after the date of the examination.
Be sure to check the results of the examination after the examination.
・ If you are judged to require a detailed examination, be sure to have a detailed examination at a medical institution. The cost of the detailed inspection will be covered by insurance.
・ Let’s continue to have cancer screening. If you have any subjective symptoms, please consult a medical institution immediately.
About prevention of spread of new coronavirus infection
The state requires that the patient prepare in advance what to do to prevent infection and what the examinee should comply with. In addition, we ask for your understanding and cooperation as it is necessary for all parties concerned, including the examinee, to work to prevent infection.
Precautions for consultation
・ Please wear a mask and come with as few people as possible.
・ Please measure the temperature at home before visiting the clinic.
・ If you have a fever or a cold, please consult after recovering your physical condition.
・ Please disinfect your hands and fingers before visiting the clinic.
Please refrain from the examination if any of the following apply
(1) Those who have persistent cold symptoms
(2) Fever (body temperature higher than normal fever, or 37.5 degrees or higher as a guide) Cough, respiratory distress, general malaise, sore throat, nasal juice, nasal obstruction, headache, Those who have symptoms of joint / muscle pain, diarrhea, vomiting, vomiting, taste disorder, olfactory disorder, etc.
(3) Have had fever (body temperature higher than normal fever, or 37.5 degrees or higher as a guide) within the past 2 weeks. (4) Those
who fall under the following cases within 2 weeks
・ Those who have traveled to other countries specified by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (and those who have contact with them at home or at work)
・ Those who have a history of contact with patients with new coronavirus or suspected patients (including fever in the workplace)
(5) There is a possibility of close contact with patients with new coronavirus, and within the waiting period (Including voluntary waiting)

We ask for your understanding and cooperation in the following points in order to take sufficient consideration to prevent the spread of infection, such as ensuring social distance.
(1) Since “preventing denseness” and “securing a distance between people” to prevent infectious diseases, the examination time for one person will be longer than before, so the number of people will be limited even during the reception hours. We may decline your request as soon as we reach it.
(2) There is no change of clothes or rental of examination clothes in the examination car. At the time of examination, please wear plain and thin upper body (buttons, metal fittings, embroidery, printing are not allowed), and lower body with rubber waist (without fasteners or buttons). Since you will take off your underwear during the inspection, please avoid clothes that take a long time to put on and take off. Please come in a skirt for uterine cancer screening.
(3) Please bring a bag to put your clothes under examination, a writing instrument (ballpoint pen) and something to wear lightly (a hoodie or cardigan that does not show through your skin).
(4) Please do not wear accessories such as necklaces and body piercings, patches, compresses, body warmers, etc. during the examination.

About self-medication tax system
“Self-medication tax system” means that those who are engaged in health care (those who have undergone health examinations, cancer screenings, etc.) receive an income deduction for the cost of purchasing some over-the-counter drugs. It is a system that can be done.
At the time of filing, as proof that you are working on your health, you will receive a receipt and examination results when you receive a specific medical examination conducted by the insurer or a cancer screening conducted with the assistance of the insurer / municipality. You will be asked to attach.
